Biography

Known as a contemporary writer we would see that Salman Rushdie writes for the entertainment of his fans who read them for the brilliants of his hard work and dedication to writing entertaining books. He was born in Bombay in 1947 until his family moved to England to get away from the troubles in India. After graduating from Cambridge University he took a small part in television and the production of the shows airing in the 1960s. He finished working for the TV shows so that he could work on his novels that he was writing. His first novel Grimus was published in 1975 which was the door which let out the water for his books selling over the last few decades. His novels are deliberately used as an entertainment purpose so that people can enjoy the fantasy of getting away from real life once in a while.

In 1981 his second novel called Midnight Children was published and won the Booker prize for fictional books of that year. Past ten years latter this book won a prize as being the ultimate in Booker award winning books by winning the Booker of Bookers prize. Salman produced a third novel only a few years later from his second which was called Shame. This book was released to a very anticipating crowd in 1983 which again sold out for most of the original printed copies. There was something about Salman Rushdie writing style that made his able to produce great fictional books which people off all ages could enjoy as long as they understood the adult content.

Salman also wrote a selection of children’s books based on different adventures like stories of the Sea. He won the best children’s book award in the year 1990 and then later that decade started on short stories as well as continuing his children books. Salman became the professor of MIT in America where he is teaching literature classes to adult students who wish to be writers or editors one day. There is always demand for great stories to be told and written no matter where you come from so spreading his knowledge of writing is only going to be very beneficial to the world. Salman has been in four different marriages which all his ex wives claim that he is a bit useless and does not help out around the house. Most likely like most men of his time and his country of origin he expects the women to do the housework for him.
