Ahmed Salman Rushdie was originally born in Bombay India but after following his parents to England he became an English citizen after giving so much to England by writing his books there. He is a master of novels in various forms as well as being a perfect essay writer for universities that can be used for class work or grading. He was given a knight ship after his second novel which was called Midnight’s Children that sold millions of copies all around the world. He was given an award in 1981 which was the same year that he released his publication of his second novel. His novels are based on magic and fantasy which is what appeals to the average reader who purchase his movies by the millions. In 1988 he released a very controversial book called the Satanic Verses which was one that started protests within the Muslim communities. Even though this forth book was a huge success there were several other books that people liked more which came out later in Salman’s career as a novelist.
Queen Elizabeth the II awarded Salman his knighthood in 2007 which was followed by a large ceremony and award ceremony. He was treated like the brilliant mind that he is after that day with people from all around the world buying up his books and giving them a second chance. Never has a writer been so popular in modern day for pure novel pleasure. It is the quiet moments that we have ourselves wrapped in a book and aware of little around us that we sometime truly find happiness if not euphoria from being free of reality for a while. When you read one of Salman Rushdie books you will see instantly that he is a very creative writer and that his ability as a novelist has taken him to great height including being the guest lecturer at several universities. Great honor and awards follow his great work which is what you would expect from someone that has produced nothing but perfection year after year. His writing skills will be put to good use as a training tool for students looking to be the next generation of novel writers.
